Grimoire VS Book of Shadows.

What do I define a grimoire to be?

My personal definition of a Grimoire is, for want of a better term, a textbook; filled with all of the information I have collected from various sources as well as my own understanding of how things work and what they correspond with.

I use it to read over what I have learnt so far, and also to use the correspondence charts when using my crystals, divination tools, creating spells and anything else witchcraft related.

What do I define a Book of Shadows to be?

My personal definition of a Book of Shadows is a book in which I keep all of my active spells, sigils and crystal grids along with any of these that I wish to try out in the future. It’s where I put all of the practical aspects of my craft.

It’s also where I put spells I’ve tried that may not have worked as a record of my journey and where I need to improve or learn more about the related subject.

Why do I have both?

Personally, I feel having just one book filled not only with information but also with any active spells, etc to be too confusing. Because of this I have divided these two aspects into separate books. It just works better for me and my craft.

Welcome to my site 😊

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for being here with me.

I used to be on the blogging platform Tumblr but they have lost my support as they are bringing in a new policy banning adult content. I do not intend to bring that content to my blog here so fear not.

Anyway, enough of that. I am here because I want to start fresh.

My intentions for this blog are to simply add my own tips, ideas and information about things relevant to my craft. I hope to make new friends and continue learning about witchcraft.

I thank anyone who had followed me here from Tumblr and welcome every single one of you to my page.

I hope we can all be friends 😊

Many Blessings to all ❤️
